Blessed Virgin Mary: May the Month of Mary

A symbol of motherly affection..one who understands all that is who Mother Mary is to millions. She is a mother that we can turn to when in despair. It is May the Month of Mary and I wanted to share a few of my favorite prayers to her. You can make your own, write a journal to her, make a mini shrine in her honor, anything you like. At the end of the prayers I also put a list of books you may want to check out on Mary who they say is always surrounded by angels and the queen of angels. PRAYER WHEN IN TREMENDOUS BINDING

Dear Blessed Virgin Mary;

I ask for your Divine Intercession as you are my mother who not only cares about my needs, but also my tribulations. Right now I do not feel love, or think myself a worthy or noble child to ask for your assistance but I call upon you to send me an answer to my petition as I really need some help. I am feeling hopeless and with the most anxiety and fear that this situation cannot improve. Here is what I ask for a miracle and your assistance with: (fill in) Please Blessed Virgin Mary hear my prayer and bring to me a solution so that all works out in favor. I ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Your son who reigns and lives with the One God forever and ever.

Amen.

NOVENA TO MIRACULOUS MOTHER

O miraculous mother,

With inspired confidence I call upon thee to extend

Thy merciful loving kindness so that thy powers of perpeutual help will protect me

And assist me in my needs and difficulties. 

Please grant me my desire (make your requests here.)

And so may it be.

Amen.

MEMORARE

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, 

sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

PRAYER TO MARY TO HELP THOSE IN NEED 

 Holy Mary,
help those in need (insert names),
give strength to the weak, (insert names)
comfort the sorrowful, (insert names)
pray for God's people,
assist the clergy,
intercede for all people.

Mary all who seek your help
experience your unfailing protection.
Amen.

PRAYER TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN

(Never known to fail) Oh most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, fruitful vine splendor of heaven Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, 
help me, show me herein, your are my mother. Oh Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth! I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this necessity. There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, show me herein, you are my mother. Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us have recourse to thee. Holy Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3X). Holy Spirit, you who solve all problems, light all roads so that I can attain my goal. You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and and forget all evil against me in that in all instances in my life you are with me. I want in this short prayer to thank you for things as you confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. 

The person must say this prayer 3 consecutive days. After 3 days, the request will be granted. This prayer must be published after the favor is granted.   

NOVENA MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP-FOR FINANCIAL AID

Realizing, dear Mother Mary,

that thou art our Perpetual Help not only in spiritual

but likewise in temporal necessities,

we approach thee with submissive and humble hearts,

because we have a child-like confidence in thy power and goodness,

beseeching thee to assist us in our present financial worry.

Owing to untoward circumstances which have arisen in our lives,

we are in dire want, being unable to meet our honest debts.

We are not asking, dearest Mother for wealth,

if possession of it is not in accordance with the holy will of God;

we merely beg for that assistance which will enable us

to satisfy our pressing obligations.

We believe, dear Mother,

that thou art the Queen of heaven and earth,

and, as such,

the instrument and special dispensation of thy Son Jesus Christ;

that thou hast acquired by virtue of thy wonderful dignity,

a sweet jurisdiction over all creation.

We believe that thou art not only rich and bountiful,

but extremely kind and generous to all thy loving children.

We plead with thee then, dear Mother,

to obtain for us the help we so urgently need in our present financial difficulty.

We thank thee, dear Lady and promise to publish far and wide,

the marvels of thy glorious Picture.

Sweethearts Angel..All You Need Is Love..

With the big Valentine's Day coming up this is a reminder to everyone to celebrate love..not just on one day but each day. It is there to reflect upon the love you have in your life and to cherish those who love you too. This is the perfect day for gratitude in action. Do whatever you can no matter how little show affection and love for those who love you. It isn't just about romantic love. You can be a sweetheart whatever day you like but use the magic of this day with all the love in the air to really make things turn around. You can even devote each day to love but there is something wonderful about embracing, recognizing and accepting all of love's possibilities we have in our lives.

A great quote by Helen Keller is, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or heard but felt with the heart."

Another one I love is by Mother Teresa who said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." It is true we can make all the difference with love. 

Some ideas include buying a gift card for someone, putting some cash in a pretty envelope and card, buying someone their favorite drink like hot chocolate or a coffee beverage, buying a book on the topic of love fiction or non-fiction.

I would also suggest wearing pink, or red and even anything with hearts like a necklace..wear red or pink lipstick..for the fellas how about a pink shirt, pink tie...heart boxers..you get the picture.

Say a compliment wrapped in a bow of love even thank you for loving me or I really love that outfit, your hair, how you make me laugh,etc. You can write this down inside a card you make or even one you buy.

Start a love box or journal. Write on hearts what you hope for, what love means to you, quotes on love.

Godsend Project: Be Touched by An Angel

There is an angel named the Goodwill Angel that basically helps to push (in a gentle way of course..other times a stronger push if necessary) to answer the prayers and deliver blessings every day in any way possible. It’s the perfect time to think of yourself as a Goodwill Angel and to be a godsend so that every person can feel touched by an angel. It’s important to practice these principles of noticing where the angels may be calling you to participate in. Pay it forward and do kind things for others..not forcing yourself or to seek to gain something, or attention..just to do so. 

                      

1)      Believe in the power of your inner shining star..the light. No matter how dark something is there is always room for light..the hope of a new dawn. It will come! Be an example.

2)      Herald the trumpets..be a messenger of good news and joyous tidings..so basically when someone is down or is giving up on something cancel out their negative statement or beliefs with one that is empowering and inspiring. Give them advice. Be their consoler.

3)      Write or call into Delilah’s of 95.5 to share your love story of friendship, family, or faith and also pick up her book and gift to another about the importance of love and being grateful. Another great option is an angel journal such as the one distributed/put out by Guideposts of their Angels on Earth Daily Planner a book such as Small Miracles of Love and Friendship or Jacky Newcomb's books such as An Angel Saved My Life.

4)      Have an angel gift swap meetup. This is where you can exchange angel gifts handmade, desserts, pray together, and do angel crafts or share your stories of heavenly intervention.

5)      Make or buy an inspirational angel card. You can find great ones here from and Doreen Virtue. Include inside an angel coupon or prayer gift like from St. Patrick's Cathedral Gift Shop of their friendship card or guardian angel card. Each is laminated with a prayer on the back and a token. You can also put cash in an envelope that reads, “Some Angel Blessings For You Wishing You Prosperity, Love, and Success for the New Year and All the Way Through. Make sure to Pay It Forward Too!”
