Angel Guru Advice Column: Angel Of Glamour

Here is some advice for August; the Angel of Glamour. Now, I know that is not an angel you hear about often but here is its message for everyone:

"Exciting rituals keep you in a vortex of joy, a key to awareness. If you look at any wise master each of them are always smiling. They radiate much warmth to those around them whether it be the humans or environment they maze in and out of.

It can be quite the elixir to dress up your soul but especially if it's garments that make you feel most built with confidence. I'm not talking fashion or accessories that everyone is rushing after or are the most "expensive" but those that delicately wrap your form in a pleasing way.

You musn't always assume that being alluring means conjuring up a mirage, but accentuating what you know will make the chandelier in the focal point of the room stream through with a variety of charming reflections caused by your authentic palate.

Most go around believing that if they wear a costume mask or attend as another character they can be what it is they seek. What they don't raise a toast to is what is making them want to conceal or go beyond what they believe to be notable? Enchantment is not something attracted with an illusionary fishing reel..it is brought in by anchoring your heart's fashionable attire.

Many like to go the Masquerade but they don't really participate. It is a place of fantastical escape one where troubles or problems are diluted into perhaps goblins and your unkind boss is the designated Gossip Queen of the occasion complete with some red chattering toy teeth on her crown. This can be quite a trap that doesn't feel as one, but the more you erase what is there, the more lost you become.
Do not delight in the fright, but invite in the light.

The Light's gaze is upon everyone, but most like to hide in a dark cave where there soot won't be exposed. But, if it does not get seen how can one know that it needs to be healed? Without healing one cannot grow and if one cannot grow than it just stays where it is. It never gets transferred into a larger pot or gives off more blooms.
Soon, its roots become dry, it gets weaker, and stops responding to the natural elements around it.

We must all see how to bake delightful moments with reality for it we don't we miss out on quite the red carpet event. Without that you are stuck in cement that has already dried onto your shoes!"

Orchestrate An Angel Ball

The point of holding an Angel Ball is to celebrate yourself and the angels you have with you.
You will want to make an official invitation for all your guests using an announcement as follows below.

Type these words up or write it up on beautiful paper for each guest, roll up and secure with a fancy sticker or wax stamp seal of an angel that are sold at most bookstores or craft supply outlets.

Then fasten with a ribbon and on thread or cord add an angel charm. Place that around the ribbon.

"Here ye here ye you are invited to a magnificent ball,
For one and all.
Bring your best,
For you are the special guest.
The angels will also congregate,
To join in the festivities as your date.
Have fun,
the angels will make sure it's a joyous one!
Make sure to R.S.V.P. by (fill in date.)"

PS Wearing angel attire is optional but make sure to wear white and angel pin or necklace somewhere on you.

To make place cards for your party(and you can write ones for your guardian angel, Archangel Michael,etc.) get some angel postcards or notecards, use scrapbook letters to place the name, then on the border all the way around hot glue with fancy ribbon and use stars,etc. You will want to place this on the plate setting. On the back write your favorite angel prayer or quote. Each person can then take this home with them as a favor.

Place a white lace runner on the table and than you will set up your centerpiece.

For table centerpieces you want to set up clear vases of different heights with seashells, large feathers, glitter ornaments or my favorite colorful battery operated candles you can put on the bottom to illuminate the feathers.

You might also wish to place angel statues of a variety in the surroundings.

You will also want to gather real life angel encounters that happened to you or other ones you have found on the internet or have found in a favorite book(check out Sophy Burnham's "Angel Letters" and "A Book Of Angels"; Doreen Virtue's "Saved by An Angel" "My Guardian Angel,", and "Angels 101"

Another great thing to do is sit back and enjoy some angel fanfare!
Rent or purchase a Season of Touched By An Angel, and movies like: The Preacher's Wife, City of Angels, and It's A Wonderful Life.

You will want to make a swag bag so your guests can take some angel magic home with them and remember the party. You can find wonderful, inexpensive goodies at your local dollar store such as Dollar Tree, Five Below, Big Lots, A.C. Moore or online via Oriental Trading Company.

Some suitable trinkets include a packet of angel confetti for each guest; feather pens you can find at most dollar stores or craft stores; a blank angel journal or journal; pack of angel stickers; bubbles; glitter; get as creative as you want.

Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel: Interview with Psychic and Medium Kim O' Neill

I had the incredible honor of interviewing Psychic and Medium Kim O' Neill for this amazing Q&A!

Your profession happens to be a psychic. Explain what being psychic is and how angels make up a strong part of it.

I’ve been a professional psychic and medium for over twenty-four years, conducting private channeling sessions for clients from around the world. My life’s work involves providing people with specific, accurate, and detailed messages directly from spiritual beings including guardian angels, departed loved ones, and even their unborn babies. In my practice, angels (as well as departed loved ones) make up the very core of what I do…because it is from them that I receive the information to convey. None of what I share in private sessions comes from me—but through me as a channel.

Can all of us gather specific information from our angels as you do?

Yes, absolutely! Successful angel communication requires a basic understanding of how and when they communicate, and mustering the enthusiasm to practice speaking with them. Because channeling is such a natural process for all of us, there is literally no way to fail. For example, every human being has a number of guardian angels who support, encourage, and provide direction during waking hours and at night during sleep. The key is to better understand how they communicate and all of the tangible signs they’re always providing, which I share in my books, How to Talk With Your Angels (HarperCollins, 1995) and Bond With Your Baby Before Birth (HCI, 2010). I also conduct workshops and teleseminars geared toward teaching angel communication…the simplest thing in the world because angelic messages come through—whether we realize it or not—from the time we first arrive on the earthly plane as tiny infants.

What counts as angelic intervention and can you share one of your own?

In my opinion, we are the fortunate recipients of angelic intervention every day of our lives. The angels assigned to work with us frequently speak inside our head through the process of telepathy, which gives the impression that we are talking to ourselves. We often sense a back-and-forth mental dialog going on as we go through our daily lives, because our angels are consistently trying to provide direction. My angels guided me through beginning my life’s work, finding my Mr. Wonderful, having two children in my mid-forties, surviving a natural disaster with my family (Hurricane Ike in 2009), and working through my biggest issues…which, of course, is still a work in progress!

Your book How to Talk With Your Angels gives techniques how to channel your angels. Is it that simple to get info from our angels and if so why does it seem we never get any data from them?

It is incredibly simple! Although I continue to be of service to others as a professional channel, I have also dedicated the last twenty-four years toward the awareness that individuals do not require assistance of a professional channel, or psychic, to “hear” what their angels are trying to convey. It’s a matter of understanding some simple theory and then practicing once a week (sitting with a notebook and pen in a quiet place) for maybe half an hour. In regard to the “data” question, I have found that our angels are quite eager to provide very specific details about anything we ask about. Although it is an inborn ability in every human being, channeling is still a skill that we can all continue to develop with just a little practice. Once an individual begins to practice once a week, their ability to “pick up” clear, specific, and detailed messages becomes much easier.

Besides angels waking us up during the middle of the night as you mention in your book are there other ways the angels try to get us to pay attention?

Angels will also provide a wealth of information to us through dreams. Then—during waking hours—angels frequently communicate through telepathy, which feels as if we are talking to ourselves. Angels also provide messages through sounds, smells, and taste; pass along information through a number that is repeated on a clock or a license plate, etc., or a song we hear. Angels will often share messages by prompting friends, family members, acquaintances, and even strangers to convey messages to us. For example, have you ever shared information with someone…and then asked yourself, “How did I know that?” Angels can also choose to tangibly materialize, which is an amazing experience! A human being can experience a guardian angel in human or animal form.

Angels seem to be the new it trend in spirituality. Why are they center stage all of the sudden?

I do not look at the popularity of angels as a trend. In fact, some years ago I remember a cover story in Life Magazine that said over 60% of all Americans believed in guardian angels. For centuries, angels have emotionally touched and spiritually inspired generations of people around the world to prevail over challenge, adversity, and hardship. More recently, it is clear that people want to transcend hardship and build better lives by developing the ability to look inward, which many people consider angelic guidance.

Can angels really help us manifest more money, great love, and career?

Our angels are partners in helping us fulfill our destiny. I believe that we are all here to accomplish great things—we just have to figure out how to do so. Angels have distinct responsibilities: first, to help us lift the veil of what I refer to as spiritual amnesia, which is the utter confusion of who we are and what we’re meant to be doing; angels direct us to accomplish our spiritual blueprint, in specific time frames, which reflects destiny. We return to the earthly plane in lifetime after lifetime to do two things: first, to evolve spiritually and emotionally; and, second, to make a positive difference on the earthly plane by utilizing our individual gifts, talents, and abilities in the service of others. That’s what life’s work is all about…discovering that special or unique talent inside of each of us and using it to create a ripple effect. In my opinion, that is one of the true secrets of happiness.

What impact have the angels had on your life?

Before I really understood how easy it is to develop a direct communication with my angels, my life was a real mess—I felt clueless and discombobulated all the time! I had just gone through a very painful divorce, co-owned a business with my ex that was going bankrupt, I had no savings, had just rented a tiny apartment that I hated, was incredibly lonely, and had zero self-esteem. I truly didn’t know where to turn. After one really awful twelve-hour day at the office, I picked up some Chinese carryout and went home to my dismal apartment to have dinner. As I sat down to eat in front of the TV, a “man” suddenly materialized…scaring me to death! Long story short, the “man” was actually an angel named John Reid who came to help me restructure my whole life. Talk about a spiritual makeover! With his guidance, I learned how to develop my channeling ability and get into my life’s work—which is conducting private channeling sessions, writing books, and teaching workshops and teleseminars about angels, destiny, past lives, and other spiritual topics. My angels also connected me with my romantic soul mate and helped me have two children when I was in my mid-forties. I can honestly say that I don’t know where I’d be right now if it wasn’t for their love, support, encouragement, and specific guidance about the goals I could accomplish on a day-to-day basis to keep my life moving forward. And that’s what I love about my work today; I have the wonderful privilege of assisting other people develop the life of their dreams. (My memoir, The Calling, which is being published by A.R.E. My dear friend Catherine Wishart(please make sure to check out her video on it here.) was the one who guided me to the movie Pay It Forward starring Kevin Spacey, Haley Joel Osment, and Helen Hunt. I just saw it tonight after putting off watching it for a few months and all I have to say is I am asking that each one of you not only watch it, give it as a gift if you can, and also follow through on doing just as this film suggests even if it's one person, organization or action step.

In the movie Haley Joel Osment character's Trevor McKinney begins his first day of 7th grade and his new Social Studies teacher Mr. Simonet portrayed by the extraordinary Kevin Spacey gives an extra credit assignment to challenge his students which is the following:

"Think of an idea that will change our world-and put into ACTION."

He wasn't expecting his students to actually do anything on a grand skill but Trevor takes it to heart because he truly wants to make a world that he knows can be a sorrowful and tragic existence into something more hopeful. Thus, he begins Pay It Forward.

It begins with Trevor as the first person to do giving acts to three other people as he explains to each individual how it works and for them to follow the same request making it possible for good deeds to continue pouring forth from one person to another.

Trevor gets discouraged and wants to give up after it seems his project is not helping at all despite his persistent dedication, but in actuality it's spreading further than he could have ever hoped for.

There are many learning themes in this movie including changing our self-sabotaging beliefs, realizing that not everyone judges you as harshly as you do yourself, being open to love no matter where you are, who you are, or what you look like, that all people have the potential to impact humanity, take life affirming risks over fearful ones and that although tragedy is not something one wishes for it is sometimes through this avenue that one comes to the realization that love and unity are very much alive in a world where this can seem like a false promise.

The angels are calling us to be more like them.

Prayer Board Hotline

So, you are bored of using your angel prayer journal or box to write down your petitions for help..fear not because you can reinvent the way you pray!

Here are the materials you will need: (improvise if necessary)

*Large tack, bulletin or corkscrew board

*colorful thumbtacks with fun shapes

*Sticker letters

*An angel that is cut out of cardstock paper to fit on the entire board

*Decorative materials for your angel like markers, crayons, colored pencils, glitter, googly eyes, yarn or other material for hair, gold or silver pipe cleaners for halo, decorative ribbon to put around border, and cloth for robe,etc.

*Regular Glue/Glue Gun

*Tape or sticky puddy

*Light blue or white construction paper

*Pen

This board is going to be your hotline where your angel screens your calls for assistance just as a prayer switchboard would...get why it's an actual board..hahahaha?

Using the sticker letters place at the very top, "Angel Prayer Request Line."

Decorate your angel in anyway you want than hot glue it onto the board.(if you plan on making a new angel than just place tape or sticky puddy on the back of it for easy removal.)

Get out your slips of paper and cut them into cloud shapes. Write at the top Your Name's Prayer Form. Then write, "Dear Angels, please give me some help with insert: ex (not having enough money to pay for bills). Let this turnout so I receive the means or ways to pay these bills or whatever you see would work out best. Thanks!"

Tack it up to the angel and let it go.

When a petition is answered you can throw it out and give your angel(s) a high wing and blow them a kiss or two.

Just a heads up prayers are not always answered in a quote on quote direct way. Sometimes you will be given a message or someone helps you out. Other times you may know that what you asked for doesn't matter as badly as you first perceived or you won't feel consumed by thinking of it.

MY TAKE ON THEM

This is not just any candle. When my package arrived and I joyfully opened up the contents I was greeted by the amazing aroma of Mango Tea. I also was captivated by the different hues of green included in this pillar candle measuring at 3 by 6 so it's a nice size to burn down to your heart's content. It's made so skillfully and you can tell. Not to mention the artwork of Raphael seems to be alive with a wonderful prayer from the archangel that says,

This candle can be lit to bring in money, happiness, and of course healing.
